Bulk Provincial Transmission System

The bulk transmission system is the major lines or "backbone" of the transmission system that provides large amounts of power to the province.

BC Hydro is a member of the Integrated Cadastral Information Society, and posts weekly mapping updates including the locations of the T&D lines and structures. Organizations wishing to download a copy of BC Hydro's GIS data are directed to become ICIS members, and then may access the data on-demand from the ICIS Data Portal.
