Background and development

The Clean Power Call Request For Proposals ("RFP") was structured to help ensure B.C. has sufficient clean electricity to meet future needs. It aligned with the 2007 Energy Plan, which indicated that at least 90% of all electricity generated in B.C. must come from clean sources. 25 Electricity Purchase Agreements were awarded in August 2010.
