Room air conditioners (AC)
Get $50 off select ENERGY STAR® window air conditioners and high-efficiency portable air conditioners at participating retailers from May 31 to August 23, 2024.
Eligible air conditioners and requirements:
- Products must be on our list of eligible air conditioners [PDF, 86 KB].
- Maximum 2 units per approved product, per SKU, per customer transaction.
- Must be purchased at a participating retailer in BC Hydro’s service territory only.
- Portable air conditioners must be dual duct or single duct with a variable speed/invertor.
- Window air conditioners must be ENERGY STAR®, variable speed, and with a CEER rating of 14 or higher.

- Air purifiers must be ENERGY STAR® with a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR)/Watt >=4.0
