Special bonus incentive offers for 2022
Self-serve incentive program bonus, plus a peak-load reduction offer in Hope
Two new bonus incentives will be offered to eligible customers starting June 15, 2022.
Self-serve incentive program (SIP) bonus
The self-serve incentive program provides large industrial customers with incentives on lighting and compressed air systems for sites that consume more than 500,000 kWh annually.
Industrial SIP applications submitted between June 15 and October 31, 2022 will be eligible for, and will automatically see, an up-to 25% top-up bonus incentive.
Localized demand-side management special offer – Hope
The offer targets reducing peak loads at specific substations. Currently, the focus is on reducing loads at the Hope substation.
Incentive applications submitted between June 15, 2022 and March 31, 2023, for customers whose business accounts are located in Hope and on the Hope substation, will automatically see a bonus applied to their incentive application.
- Customers in Hope who are eligible for business energy savings incentives (BESI) may be eligible for a bonus incentive of up to an additional 60% on top of the base incentive. For example, if the standard customer incentive is $1,000, then a customer in Hope may be eligible for up to an additional $600, for a total incentive of up to $1,600.
- Large industrial customers who qualify for the self-serve incentive program (SIP) will be eligible for a bonus incentive of up to an additional 50% on top of the current incentive. If the application is submitted before October 31, 2022, this top-up incentive will be applied on top of the SIP bonus (above) to a maximum 100% of the project cost.
All bonus incentives will be calculated and appear online but are subject to final project approval.
