BC Hydro offers Alliance members funding for advanced lighting controls training program
Funding for BCIT course in November
September is back-to-school time with a number of great upcoming courses for industry members. BC Hydro is kicking off fall with an offer to pay 50% of the course fee for Alliance members who take BCIT's upcoming Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (NALCTP), running from November 19 to 25 at BCIT's Burnaby campus.
The National Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (NALCTP) is an internationally recognized initiative aimed at increasing the use of lighting controls in commercial buildings and industrial facilities. Through proper installation, advanced lighting controls improve energy efficiency and save significant dollars. NALCTP will educate, train and certify licensed electrical contractors and certified general electricians in the proper programming, testing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of advanced lighting control systems in commercial facilities.
