More support for energy conservation projects this summer
After one of the strongest El Niños on record, summer 2024 in B.C. is expected to be another hot one.
So if you're an industrial or large commercial customer planning to take advantage of our custom incentives or self-serve incentive program (SIP), we've got some great news. To encourage and support energy conservation projects during the summer months, we'll apply a 50% bonus to eligible custom and SIP projects that complete before August 30, 2024.
Please note that any projects extending past the August 30, 2024 deadline will not receive a bonus.

Don't miss the 50% bonus deadlines
New applications
We need to receive your application before 11:59 p.m. on July 15, 2024. Your project must have a completion date before 11:59 p.m. on August 30, 2024 to receive a 50% bonus. All eligible agreements will be processed on a first come, first served basis.
What kind of projects are eligible?
- All industrial and large commercial customers are eligible to submit project applications, regardless of their strategic energy management (SEM) participation.
- All custom and self-serve incentive projects must meet all program eligibility criteria.
- Eligible projects include:
- Energy efficiency retrofits, including load displacement projects.
- New equipment and new plant design projects receiving standard incentive amounts.
- Capacity and demand-response projects will receive the best available offer.
- Please note that low-carbon electrification and CleanBC projects are not eligible for a 50% bonus.
