Are you power smarter than grade-school students?

Boost your power smarts
This October, we're challenging grade 4 – 7 classes in B.C. to test their power smarts against other classrooms throughout the province with three weekly quizzes.

Test your power smarts with questions from our B.C. schools quiz

Our Power Smart for Schools program has supported B.C. teachers with curriculum-connected educational resources that help inspire young students to develop a clean energy mindset and power smart practices. And they've come up with some fun ways to spark excitement in classrooms.

This fall, we're bringing back our annual province-wide Boost your Power Smarts quiz competition for grades four to seven classrooms. Students will explore how electricity is made, the importance of conserving water and energy, and what actions we can all take to protect our planet.

Think you’re as power smart as B.C. elementary school students? Now’s your chance to test your power smarts. We've put together 10 multiple-choice questions taken from Boost Your Power Smart quizzes. Currently, classrooms across B.C. are competing against other classrooms in the province in hopes of becoming this year's champions.

Let's get started

Previous classroom winners of the Boost Your Power Smarts competition
Previous winners were Blakey's Lightning Minds from Cayoosh Elementary in Lillooet in 2018, and Pop Quiz Panthers from Ecole Poirier Elementary in Sooke a year later.
