Extended Windows for New Month December 2018

BC Hydro is pleased to visually clarify the opening of extended windows [PDF, 151 KB] for purchasing transmission for the new month starting Saturday, December 1, 2018.
National Energy Board - Application for Carrier, Adjustment, Storage and Equichange Transfer Permits

BC Hydro advises that on November 16, 2018 it submitted an application (Application) to the National Energy Board (NEB) to renew two electricity export permits on substantially identical terms to its current permits, which expire in April 2019.
These permits are as follows:
- Export Permit for Carrier and Adjustment Transfers.
- Export Permit for Storage and Equichange Transfers.
The Application seeks “blanket” permits allowing BC Hydro to export electricity over all high-voltage International Power Lines (IPLs) in B.C. that are certificated by the NEB up to the simultaneous transfer capability of the IPLs.

On September 26, 2018 between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, BC Hydro will be updating one of its business systems (MODS) in the Production environment. We don’t anticipate there to be scheduling issues for our OATT customers. However, please contact Brenda Ambrosi at 604-455-4203 if you experience any issues.

General Wheeling Rates Starting October 2018
