BC Hydro at work: Crews hang cables in snowy conditions near the Kwadacha First Nation
BC Hydro crews hard at work in the snow and sub-zero temperatures hanging cable pipes under the Finlay River Bridge, near Fort Ware. The bridge is the only way in or out of the Kwadacha First Nation and the installation of the pipes – completed today – will help bring power from BC Hydro’s grid to the community of 450 people. The connection is being completed through the Remote Community Electrification program which aims to improve electrical service to remote communities.
