After featuring larger customers, we're wanting to highlight small businesses
There's a whole lot of reinvention going on as B.C. moves away from the use of fossil fuels in favour of our clean electricity to power operations. It's climate action at its finest.
Over the past two years, we've profiled what we call Clean Energy Champions. Along the way, we've had stories and videos on electric tugboats, a landscaper using electric mowers and blowers, schools going all electric, and a major greenhouse operation growing vegetables year-round with the help of LED lighting powered by clean electricity.
You can get an idea of the why and how of this shift in our video gallery below. But we want to meet more British Columbians who are finding ways to use clean energy to power their small businesses. You can help us by nominating a professional, or small business in your community that's going above and beyond to shelve gas heat in favour of heat pumps, upping efficiency, generating power with rooftop solar or wind, or ditching gas for battery-powered vehicles.
Fill out the nomination form and don't be shy about nominating yourself.
