BC Hydro at work: Crews patrol snow covered transmission lines near Port Alberni
Dec. 20, 2012: BC Hydro crews took to the skies near Port Alberni earlier today to search a transmission line for the source of an outage after the heavy snowfall. When lines are damaged or go down in a remote area, crews will often use helicopters to help them find the damage and repair it.
