BC Hydro is pleased to visually clarify the opening of extended windows [DOC, 39 KB] for purchasing transmission for New Year's Day, Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Curtailment Methodology

Further to the bulletin posted on November 29, 2013, BC Hydro is still working with the vendor of its scheduling software to implement the functionality required to curtail similarly situated non-firm transmission customers on a pro rata basis. BC Hydro expects the necessary software upgrade to be completed either in the summer or fall of 2015. BC Hydro’s Curtailment of Transmission and Energy Business Practice will be revised prior to the software implementation.
Revised Extended Windows for Christmas Day

Due to the recent declaration by President Obama that Friday, December 26, 2014 will be a federal holiday in the United States, BC Hydro has revised the opening of extended windows [PDF, 85 KB] for purchasing transmission for Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, 2014 and Boxing Day, Friday, December 26, 2014 to reflect this change.
