F2023-F2025 Revenue Requirements Application – Approved F2024 Interim Rate Pages

Further to the bulletin posted on September 8, 2021, BC Hydro filed the attached tariff sheets reflecting the interim rates for fiscal 2024 in accordance with Commission Order Nos. G-59-23 and G-60-23, on March 29, 2023, for OATT Attachment H, Schedule 00, Schedule 01, and Schedule 03.

Amended Business Practices – Submitting Energy Schedules

BC Hydro amended the Submitting Energy Schedules business practice by adding section 14.0, “Other Conditions”, which clarifies conditions on certain e-Tag creation practices. Please provide comments to Brenda Ambrosi by March 17, 2023; customer comments may be posted.

Impact to Scheduling-Feb 21, 2023 from 10am to 11am PST - Reminder

Further to the bulletin posted on February 14, on February 21, 2023 between 10:00 am to 11:00 am PST, BC Hydro will be updating one of its business systems (MODS) in the Production environment. Thus, there will be an impact to scheduling during this outage window. Consequently, BC Hydro asks its OATT customers to schedule around this outage time period. Please contact Brenda Ambrosi at 604-312-7391 if you experience any issues.
Amended Business Practices – Rollover Rights of Long Term Firm Transmission Service

Application to Suspend Obligation to Supply Service to Cryptocurrency Mining Projects

On December 21, 2022, BC Hydro filed an application with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) requesting the BCUC suspend its obligation to supply service to certain new cryptocurrency mining projects (Application). On December 21, 2022, the Lieutenant Governor in Council issued Order in Council (OIC) 692 directing the BCUC to issue final orders approving BC Hydro’s Application. On December 28, 2022, the BCUC, via Order G-390-22 A, approved relief of obligations to BC Hydro. The suspension to supply service will be temporary and last 18 months from the date of BCUC’s order approving the Application.
