Impact to Scheduling - Nov. 29 from 10 am to noon PST - REMINDER

Further to the bulletin posted on November 22, BC Hydro will be updating one of its business systems (MODS) on November 29, 2022, between 10:00 a.m. and 12 p.m. There will be an impact to scheduling during this upgrade window. As a result, BC Hydro asks its OATT customers to schedule around this outage time period. Please contact Avis Yang at 604-649-7211 if you experience any issues.

OATT Generator Interconnection Amendments Application - BCUC Decision

Further to the bulletin posted on February 15, 8:40am, February 15 3:20pm, and January 11, 2022, BCUC Order G-304-22 approved the following amendments to the OATT:
- Attachment M-1, including the five appendices to Attachment M-1 (to be effective on April 25, 2023)
- OATT Rate Schedule 05 (effective as of October 27, 2022)
- Attachment B (effective as of October 27, 2022)
- Attachment L (effective as of October 27, 2022)
- OATT housekeeping amendments (effective as of October 27, 2022)

Amended Long Term Business Practices – Update

Further to the bulletin posted on September 9, 2022 soliciting feedback from customers, BC Hydro Transmission Provider received comments from Powerex regarding the Business Practice on Conditional Firm Service (CFS). BC Hydro has considered the feedback and has augmented scenario 5 in section 4.2 as well as section 6.0 to address the input. Thus, these business practices are posted on the Business Practices webpage and are effective immediately.

General Wheeling Rates Starting October 2022 - Reissued

Further to the bulletin posted on August 22, 2022, the table of general wheeling rates, applicable to FortisBC under Rate Schedule 3817, has been reissued to show the corrected annual rates commencing October 2022.

Amended Business Practices – Long Term

Since June 2022, BC Hydro has systematically reviewed and updated its business practices to incorporate industry changes, new tariff provisions, and language updates. The following are the updates to our final set of 8 business practices, which are related to the Long-Term Point-to-Point Transmission Service. Please provide comments related to these 8 business practices to Brenda Ambrosi by October 7, 2022; customer comments may be posted.

Further to the bulletin posted on July 29, BC Hydro received no comments on amendments to its short term business practices. Thus, these business practices are posted on the Business Practices webpage and are effective immediately.
