1. Get up to $3,000 in enhanced rebates for energy-efficient home upgrades
Looking to make your home more energy efficient? Upgrading your home's electric space and water heating systems can provide big savings on your energy bills.
As a resident of Sun Peaks and its surrounding areas, you can get a up to $3,000 in top-up rebates for completing these upgrades.

Heat pump water heaters can help you save on water heating costs. This is because they're 50% more efficient than standard electric water heaters.
Heat pumps
Heat pumps help you save on heating costs – they're up to three times more efficient than electric baseboards. Plus, they come with the added benefit of home cooling.

- Make sure your home is eligible.
- Work with a licensed contractor. If you're getting a heat pump installed, you'll need to choose a Home Performance Contractor Network member to be eligible for rebates.
- Complete your upgrade, ensuring your selected product and the installation meet the rebate eligibility criteria:
- Once your upgrade is complete, submit your rebate application online.
The top-up amount will be automatically included in your rebate payment based on the postal code of the installation address provided in your application.
3. Earn rewards with our Peak Saver program
Join our Peak Saver program and you could earn rewards on your electricity bill. Reduce your electricity use during short, two to three-hour periods – referred to as Peak Saver events – and you'll earn a reward on your bill when you reduce your electricity use to meet the target. For example, an event with a 20% reduction target may have a $3 reward. You can participate in as many or as few events as you'd like.
- Alert: You'll receive an email alert notifying you of an upcoming Peak Saver event at least 24 hours in advance. It'll include the target electricity reduction and the reward you could earn. For example, reduce by 20% to earn $3.
- Shift or reduce: Shift energy-heavy activities such as doing laundry or using the oven to before or after the Peak Saver event.
- Reward: If you're successful in meeting the target electricity reduction during the event, you'll earn a reward of up to $3. At the end of the program, we'll add up your rewards and they'll appear on your bill.
