High-Bay Lighting Initiative
Commercial customers with high-bay facilities can improve lighting quality and save on energy costs by changing their existing lighting to energy-efficient fluorescent lighting through the High-Bay Lighting Initiative.
Data Centre and Server Initiative
There are methods and tools available to consolidate data servers, allowing fewer units to perform the functions of several, and permitting the removal of unnecessary servers. These methods include the use of virtualization software, the installation of high-performance servers and other technologies and measures. Recent data centre upgrades have successfully consolidated physical servers with ratios typically ranging from 7:1 and as high as 30:1.
