Participating retailers offered instant discounts

Instant discounts were available for eligible appliances from October 3, 2025 to January 2, 2026 at the following participating retailers:

  • In-store shopping: Canadian Appliance Source, Coast Appliances, Home Hardware, Leon's, Midland Appliance, RONA, The Brick, The Home Depot, Trail Appliances, and Visions Electronics
  • Online shopping: Canadian Appliance Source, Leon's, The Brick, Trail Appliances and Visions Electronics.

Did you shop at another retailer? Apply for a post-purchase rebate

Did you purchase an eligible appliance between October 3, 2025 and January 2, 2026 from a retailer not included in the list above? If so, follow the instructions below to apply for a post-purchase rebate by March 3, 2026.

How to apply for a post-purchase rebate

  1. Buy – Must have purchased a qualifying product between October 3, 2025 to January 2, 2026 from a retailer that did not offer an instant discount. Keep your receipt.
  2. Apply – Apply online for the discount and attach your receipt. We'll accept applications until March 3, 2026.
  3. Receive your rebate – Once approved, the rebate will be applied to your BC Hydro bill as a credit within one or two billing periods.
