Eligible air conditioners and requirements

• Products must be on our list of eligible air conditioners [PDF, 74 KB].
• Maximum 2 units per approved product, per customer transaction.
• Must be purchased at a participating retailer in BC Hydro's service territory only [PDF, 176 KB].
• Portable room air conditioners must be dual duct or single duct with variable speed/inverter technology.
• Window air conditioners must be ENERGY STAR®, variable speed, and with a Combined Energy Efficiency Ratio (CEER) rating of 15 or higher.
• All products must be new. Open box or refurbished products are not eligible.
