Get up to $1,000 in bonus rebates

For a limited time, you could get up to $1,000 in bonus rebates when you complete and pay for an eligible air source heat pump upgrade by October 31. Plus, a chance to win one of three $5,000 prizes.*

*Bonus rebate funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible BC Hydro applicants, while funds last. To qualify, you must complete, invoice, and pay for your eligible installation between August 1 and October 31, 2026, and submit a complete rebate application by November 30, 2026. Rebates can’t exceed the invoiced and paid cost of your eligible upgrade. Funding, rebate amounts, and promotion availability are subject to change or end without notice. Rebates for energy efficiency upgrades in apartment and condo units

Want to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home? Our Condo and Apartment Rebate Program provides rebates for individual condo owners and rental building owners to upgrade space and water heating equipment in their unit.

Who are these rebates for?

This program is intended for you if:

  • You own:  
    • An individual unit in a strata condominium, equity co-op apartment building, or multiplex with six or more units, or 
    • A purpose-built rental building and you’re looking to upgrade one unit,   
  • Your unit is currently heated by electricity, 
  • You’re the utility account holder or have a completed consent form from them, and 
  • You’re planning to install a heat pump or heat pump water heater in your unit.

Note: If you meet the income qualification for CleanBC’s Condo and Apartment Rebates we recommend you apply for that program instead.
