Let's celebrate B.C.'s 150th "anniversary"

This year, BC150 is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Crown Colony of British Columbia in 1858.

Communities across B.C. are invited to participate in this year-long celebration of B.C.'s cultural diversity, community strength and achievement. For more information on festivals, events and programs, please visit www.bc150.ca.

Jobs with the Outreach Team

BC Hydro Outreach representatives support current BC Hydro campaigns by delivering key messages to customers via community events, retail events, story times, business walkthroughs, media interaction and our community cruiser.

BC Hydro Outreach typically hires representatives three times a year for campaigns that run in conjunction with post secondary terms: summer ( May – August), fall (September – December) and spring (January – April). Job bulletins are usually posted two months prior to the start of a new term in Current Opportunities. Since 1998, BC Hydro Outreach has hired over 1000 students and recent graduates.
