About our public EV charging network
As more people make the switch to electric vehicles (EVs) in B.C., our network of public chargers is expanding too.
Over the next decade we're planning to add 3,000 more charging ports to our network. This will provide reliable EV charging for people in communities across B.C. and along travel corridors, with extra support in busy urban areas.
We operate mainly DC fast chargers and are beginning to expand into Level 2 chargers at select locations. Most of our EV charging sites currently have a single DC fast charger but we're upgrading some spots with a second one as EV adoption grows.

- Search for charging sites and activate charging
- Order your RFID card(s) and add funds

- Manage notifications, favourite sites and more
The BC Hydro EV mobile app can also be used to activate charging at any of our roaming partner chargers across North America.
